Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Agriculture Academic Studies Scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.
  • Students should express interest in enrolling in a four-year degree course in Agriculture or Horticulture.
  • General and OBC category students must have completed their 10+2 education with an aggregate score of 55%, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • SC and ST category students must have completed their 10+2 education with an aggregate score of 45%, with the same subject requirements as above.
  • Applicants are required to pass the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) All India Entrance Examinations for Admission (AIEEA), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
