Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swawlamban Yojana (DDUSY)

The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swawlamban Yojana (DDUSY) is a transformative initiative launched by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, aimed at empowering unemployed youth to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys. By providing access to affordable financing, this scheme encourages the establishment of small and medium enterprises, thereby fostering economic growth and self-reliance in the state.

Overview of the Scheme

Implemented by the Department of Finance, Planning & Investment, DDUSY is designed to support self-employment projects that are both viable and bankable. The initiative provides financial assistance in the form of a capital subsidy and loans, enabling aspiring entrepreneurs to set up their businesses with confidence.

The Arunachal Pradesh Innovation & Investment Park (APIIP) plays a crucial role in facilitating and nurturing startups under this scheme. The state government has allocated a quota of 50 beneficiaries for APIIP to recommend eligible startups under the Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Development Program (APEDP) for support under DDUSY.
