The Government of Haryana has introduced the scheme titled “Financial Assistance to Persons Suffering from Rare Diseases” through its Social Justice and Empowerment Department. This initiative aims to provide crucial financial support to residents of Haryana diagnosed with rare diseases, ensuring they receive a monthly stipend to help cover their medical and living expenses.

The scheme “Financial Assistance to Persons Suffering from Rare Diseases” is designed specifically for Haryana residents facing the challenges of rare diseases. It is essential that eligible candidates meet certain criteria, including income limitations. Starting January 1, 2024, beneficiaries will receive a monthly financial assistance of ₹3,000. This amount is supplemental to any other social security pensions or benefits the applicant may be entitled to receive.

  • The family’s annual income must be less than ₹3,00,000.
  • The applicant must possess a Parivar Pehchan Patra.
  • Applicants should be diagnosed with one of the rare diseases listed in the National Policy for Rare Diseases, 2021, as issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India, and confirmed at a recognized ‘Centre of Excellence’ (CoE).

To apply for the benefits under this scheme, applicants can follow the steps outlined below:

Online Application Process on the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal

  1. Visit the official Antyodaya-SARAL Portal at https://saralharyana.gov.in/.
  2. If you are not already registered, select “New User” under the ‘Sign In Here’ section and provide the requested information, including your name, email ID, mobile number, password, and state. Click on ‘Submit’.
  3. Verify your contact details through the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email address to complete the registration.

Login to Apply for the Scheme

  1. Access the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal and log in using your registered email ID.
  2. Input your password and the captcha, then click on ‘Login’.
  3. Once logged in, navigate to ‘Apply for Services’ and select ‘View all Available Services’.
  4. Search for the scheme and click on it to proceed with the application form.
  5. Input your Parivar Pehchan Patra number (Family ID) and click on “Click here to Fetch Family Data” to view family members registered under that ID.
  6. Select the name of the beneficiary/applicant and enter the OTP sent to the chosen family member for verification, then click on “Click to Verify”.
  7. Complete all mandatory fields in the application form and upload the necessary documents.
  8. Review your application and click on ‘Submit’ to finalize.

Tracking Your Application

Applicants can monitor the status of their application through the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal by entering the Department Name, Scheme Name, and Application Reference ID.

Registration Process on Antyodaya-SARAL Portal:
Step 01: To avail of the benefits of the scheme, the applicant needs to visit the Official Portal -Antyodaya-SARAL Portal: https://saralharyana.gov.in/

Step 02: If the applicant is not registered on the portal, he/she gets registered there.
Step 03: For registration, click “New User
” under ‘Sign In Here’ and fill in all the mandatory details i.e. Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Password & State. Click on ‘Submit’.
Step 04: Verify your mobile number and email ID through the received OTP and complete the registration process.
Login to apply for the scheme:
Step 01: To avail the benefits of the scheme, visit the Official Antyodaya-SARAL Portal

Step 02: Enter Password & Captcha and click on ‘Login’.
Step 03: After successful login, click on ‘Apply for Services’ and then ‘View all Available Services’
Step 04: Now, you can search for the scheme and click on the scheme to go ahead and fill out the application form.
Step 05: Enter your Parivar Pehchan Patra number - Family ID and click on “Click here to Fetch Family Data” which displays the family members registered under the given Family ID.
Step 06: Select the beneficiary/applicant name and enter the OTP that is being sent to the selected family member for verification. Click on “Click to Verify”
Step 07: Fill in all the mandatory details and upload all the mandatory documents.
Step 08: Preview the application form and click on ‘Submit’.
Tracking of Application:
Applicants can track his/her application through the Official Antyodaya-SARAL Portal
by entering their Department Name, Scheme Name, and Application Reference ID.
