Under the Mukhyamantri Shramik Aujaar Sahayata Yojana (मुख्यमंत्री श्रमिक औजार सहायता योजना), the Chhattisgarh government distributes 10,000 tool kits each year to construction workers. This initiative focuses on supporting various trades within the construction industry, including masons, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, porters, and painters. To be eligible for the benefits, workers must be registered with the Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board for at least 90 days.

Application Process

Step 1: Online Registration of Construction Workers

• Visit the official website of the Chhattisgarh Labour Department.
• On the homepage, click on “Apply” under the “Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board” section.
• Provide the following details:
  • Select: “Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board”
  • Select Service: “Labour Registration”
  • What do you want to do: “Registration Application”
• Click on “Proceed”.
• Enter your personal details including:
  • Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Aadhar Card Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Age
• After filling in all required information, click on “Submit”. Your registration ID will be sent to your mobile number and email address.

Step 2: Application for Tool Kit

• Return to the official website of the Chhattisgarh Labour Department.
• Click on “Apply” under the “Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board”.
• Enter the following details:
  • Select: “Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board”
  • Select Service: Scheme
  • What do you want to do: “Application”
• Click on “Proceed”.
• Select your district and provide your old/new registration number, then click “Proceed”.
• An OTP will be sent to your mobile for verification; enter it to continue.
• A dashboard will appear with your details such as name, address, age, and caste.
• Select your scheme and upload the necessary documents and basic information.
• Finally, click on “Submit” to complete your application for the tool kit.
