Step-by-Step Offline Application

  1. The eligible artisan should print the designated application form format, which is publicly advertised annually.
  2. Complete all mandatory sections of the application form, attach a passport-sized photograph (signed, if necessary), and include copies of all required documents (self-attested, if needed).
  3. Submit the completed application form along with the necessary documentation to the nearest Handicrafts Service Centre or Regional Office.
  4. Upon submission, the application will be logged in the receipt register, and a unique identification number will be allocated for tracking and acknowledgment purposes.

Post-Application Procedures

  1. Field officers will conduct inspections of the submitted applications.
  2. Complete applications will be processed within 30 days. Based on the Regional Director’s recommendations, the Core Committee, chaired by the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), will finalize the selection of artisans eligible for financial aid.
  3. The approved financial assistance will be disbursed through the designated officer in the respective field office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts).

In cases where financial support is delayed due to the absence of an income certificate or changes in income levels, applicants must reapply as a fresh application to continue receiving support.

Post-Application Processes
Step 1: On receipts of applications inspections will be done by the field officer.
Step 2: The applications completed in all respects shall be processed within 30 days. On the recommendation of the Regional Director, the Core Committee under the Chairmanship of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) would finalize the selection of the master craftsperson for financial assistance.
Step 3: The financial assistance will be disbursed through the in-charge in the respective field formation of the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts).
*If there is any gap in extending the financial support due to non-submission of income certificate/enhancement of income criteria, the applicant has to apply as a fresh application according to the financial support.
