Veda Vyasa Scheme for Vedic Education

The Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation has initiated the “Veda Vyasa Scheme for Vedic Education” for the fiscal year 2019-20. This program aims to promote Vedic education within the state, providing financial aid to eligible students. The scheme specifically supports those from the Brahmin community engaged in various Vedic courses.

Launched by the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation, the “Veda Vyasa Scheme for Vedic Education” is designed to enhance the pursuit of Vedic studies in Andhra Pradesh. Under this initiative, selected students will receive annual financial assistance, making it easier for them to continue their education in Vedic disciplines. The program is targeted at Brahmin students enrolled in full-time Vedic courses, including Yajur Veda, Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Atharvana Veda, or Smartham.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the “Veda Vyasa Scheme for Vedic Education,” applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The applicant and their parents must be from the Brahmin community.
  • Parents should be residents of Andhra Pradesh.
  • The applicant must be aged between 8 to 19 years.
  • Enrollment in a full-time Vedic course at an accredited Veda Pathasala recognized by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) or the Endowments Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh is mandatory.
  • Students applying for courses like Padam, Kramam, Jata, and Ghanam need to have completed their previous course.
  • Applicants must be registered in the Praja Sadhikara Survey (PSS).

  1. Visit the official website: Andhra Brahmin Welfare Corporation and navigate to the “Scheme” section.
  2. Click on “Registration” to access the application form.
  3. Complete the application by providing the required details, including:
    • Personal Information: Name, residence address, Aadhaar number, ration card number, and bank details.
    • Upload: Recent photograph, signature, and necessary certificate details.
    • Documents Required: Birth certificate, residential certificate, Aadhaar card, caste certificate, and bank passbook.
  4. Finalize the application and click on “Submit.”
  5. Upon submission, a reference number will be provided for tracking purposes.

Checking Application Status

To monitor the status of your application, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “Services” link in the menu and select “Know your status.”
  2. Input your reference number or mobile number or Aadhaar card number to retrieve the application status.
  3. Choose the “Financial Year” and fetch the necessary details.

Downloading the Acknowledgment Slip

To obtain the acknowledgment slip, complete the following:

  1. Click on the “Acknowledgment Slip” option.
  2. Enter your Aadhaar card number and select the relevant “Scheme.”
  3. Press “Submit” to download the slip.

Step 02: Click on "Registration" After that application form will open
Step 03: Fill out the required details:
Personal Details: Name, Residence address, Aadhaar no, Ration card no, Bank detail etc
Upload: Photo, Signature and Certificate Details
Documents: Birth Certificate, Residential Certificate, Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate, Bank Passbook etc
Finalize and "Submit" the application.

Step-4: After submission receive the reference number.

Step 02: Enter the Reference or Mobile or Aadhaar Card Number to get the application status.
Step 03: Select the "Financial Year" and Fetch the details.
