The Full Medical Checkup Assistance Scheme aims to provide comprehensive health check-ups for male Shramyogis aged 45 years and above, as well as female Shram Yogis aged 35 years and above, who are employed in the organized sector of Gujarat. This initiative is a part of the efforts by the Gujarat Labour Welfare Board, under the Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, to ensure the well-being of workers in the state.

About the Scheme

Administered by the Gujarat Labour Welfare Board, the Full Medical Checkup Assistance Scheme serves to facilitate regular health assessments for eligible Shramyogis. To qualify for this scheme, workers must have had their Labour Welfare Fund contributions consistently paid by their respective organizations or units for a minimum duration of one year prior to applying.

Key Benefits

• The scheme offers health check-ups specifically for male Shramyogis aged 45 years and older, and female Shram Yogis aged 35 years and older.
• The financial assistance for each medical check-up is set at ₹1950 per worker, of which the organization is required to contribute 25%, amounting to ₹487.50.

Eligibility Criteria

• Workers must have their Labour Welfare Fund regularly paid for the last year.
• Male Shramyogis must be at least 45 years old, while female Shram Yogis must be at least 35 years old.
• Each eligible laborer can avail of the benefits once a year.
• The Gujarat Labour Welfare Board disclaims responsibility for any side effects resulting from medical examinations.
• Medical check-ups should be conducted within 30 days of receiving in-principle approval, arranged mutually by the company and the hospital.

Important Notes:

• Companies wishing to benefit from this scheme must upload an Excel sheet listing eligible workers on the designated portal.
• Fees incurred under this scheme are non-refundable.
• The Welfare Commissioner retains the final decision-making authority regarding the scheme, with jurisdiction based in Ahmedabad.

How to Apply

To apply for the Full Medical Checkup Assistance Scheme, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Sanman Portal: https://sanman.gujarat.gov.in/
2. On the homepage, navigate to the ‘Citizen Login’ tab and click on ‘Please Register Here’.
3. Input your Aadhaar Card Number, select your user type, and provide your Labour Welfare Fund Account Number.
4. Click on ‘Fetch’ to verify your details.
5. Enter your user details and set a password.
6. Upon successful registration, log in with your User ID and Password.
7. Select the relevant scheme and carefully review the provided instructions.
8. Complete the application form and upload all required documents.
9. Agree to the Rules & Regulations and submit your application. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address, including your application number.
